s p r i n g . t r i p

 back from a lovely little trip away visiting family & friends down south.

making the most of the sunshine; we took isla to see the sea for the very first time with a visit to hastings old town and bexhill beach, mummy and daddy's old stomping ground ;)

breathing in the salty air, it felt so good to be out of our winter woollies! lucky isla was bang on trend in her sun hat! (thank you grandma x)

hello! 

you may have noticed a slight gap in my postings here on my blog of late! oopsie. 

finding the time to log-in & write has been hard. i can't think why!! ;0)

instagram however has been a tool that i've managed to use quite a bit of.  simply because it's far quicker to use; take a pic, add a short 'n' snappy text, upload & hey-presto! an instant insight of what i'm getting up to.

i follow fellow crafters & makers, i love the looking in on their to day-to-day life, it has that 'come & follow me' feel to it without being nosey, if that makes any sense! no?

baby of mine x

celebrating my first ever mother's day today!

i feel so incredibly lucky and thankful to have my gorgeous little one.

she's 3 months old today! so we're enjoying our special day with plenty playtime & snuggles.

this song is one of our favourites, one i play to isla when she's stretched out on her playmat, waving her arms about & kicking her legs :)) 

brings a happy tear to my eye. everytime.

i n v i t a t i o n s

  i've been working on christening invitations for a lovely customer and her little boy :)) 

handprinted in a pale shade of duck egg blue onto thick, recycled ivory card stock.

as i mix my own colours, i can produce the invitations in any colour palette you wish!

they also come with a choice of ivory or brown envelopes which can be left plain or have a handprinted address label on the front :)) 

new christening cards will be available to purchase singularly from my etsy shop very soon!
